Wisdom

In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand be idle:
For you do not know which of the two will be successful,or whether both alike will turn out well.

Building,Establishing and Filling a house

3By wisdom a house is built,by understanding it is established;
4And by knowledge its rooms are filled with every precious and pleasing possession.
5The wise are more powerful than the strong, and the learned, than the mighty,b
6For by strategy war is waged, and victory depends on many counselors.c

YOU CAN MASTER SIN

So the LORD said to Cain:
“Why are you so resentful and crestfallen.
If you do well, you can hold up your head;
but if not, sin is a demon lurking at the door:
his urge is toward you, yet you can be his master.”

Gen 4:6-7

Reflection:
Mastering sin/winning over it involves decision first, when we decide not to give in,and then surrender to God and ask him to help us win we absolutely will come out Victors because that is what the Lord has said,"his urge is toward you, yet you can be his master".

May God bless us so that we can always win over every kind of sin for by his help we have won!Amen.

Whatch out what you desire and how you get what you desire

The woman saw that the tree was good for food, pleasing to the eyes, and desirable for gaining wisdom.
So she took some of its fruit and ate it;and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her,
and he ate it. Gen 3:6

Reflection:
We are tempted through what we desire

A way forward
Lets always lay all our desires to God so that he can purify them and that we wont be tempted through them and always rely to God for his providence at the right pace.

After laying our desires before Christ,we need to be reading the Word of God for all the answers of our prayers are in there.

May God Bless Us.

Word for the day

Let brotherly love continue.
Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels
Be mindful of prisoners as if sharing their imprisonment,
and of the ill-treated as of yourselves, for you also are in the body.

 Hebr 13:1-3

Dharau aibu

Do not be silent:when God remembers you!

1 I waited patiently for the Lord's help; then he listened to me and heard my cry. 2 He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand. He set me safely on a rock and made me secure. 3 He taught me to sing a new song, a song of praise to our God. Many who see this will take warning and will put their trust in the Lord.

4 Happy are those who trust the Lord, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods. 5 You have done many things for us, O Lord our God; there is no one like you! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all - their number is so great!

6 You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you do not ask for animals burned whole on the altar or for sacrifices to take away sins. Instead, you have given me ears to hear you, 7 and so I answered, "Here I am; your instructions for me are in the book of the Law. 8 How I love to do your will, my God! I keep your teaching in my heart."

9 In the assembly of all your people, Lord, I told the good news that you save us. You know that I will never stop telling it. 10 I have not kept the news of salvation to myself; I have always spoken of your faithfulness and help. In the assembly of all your people I have not been silent about your loyalty and constant love. 11 Lord, I know you will never stop being merciful to me. Your love and loyalty will always keep me safe.

   Psalms 40: 1-11

Virtue in the Bible

Proverbs 11:16 GNTA
A gracious woman is respected, but a woman without virtue is a disgrace. Lazy people will never have money, but aggressive people will get rich.
Proverbs 19:11 GNTA
If you are sensible, you will control your temper. When someone wrongs you, it is a great virtue to ignore it.

Additions to Esther 10:2 GNTA
His power and virtue, as well as the wealth and splendor of his empire, are recorded in the official records of the kings of Persia and Media.
Wisdom 4:1 GNTA
It is better to have virtue, even if it means having no children. Your virtue will be recognized by other people and by God, and you will be remembered for it forever.
Wisdom 4:2 GNTA
Virtue provides an example for people to follow; when it is not there, they miss it. It has always been the finest prize a person can win, and it always will be so. It is the noblest of all the good qualities a person can have.
Wisdom 5:13 GNTA
It is the same with us - we were born, and then we ceased to be. We left no sign of virtue behind us; we were destroyed by our wickedness."

Keep Alive (Chochea karama)

3 I give thanks to God, whom I serve with a clear conscience, as my ancestors did. I thank him as I remember you always in my prayers night and day. 4 I remember your tears, and I want to see you very much, so that I may be filled with joy. 5 I remember the sincere faith you have, the kind of faith that your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice also had. I am sure that you have it also.

6 For this reason I remind you to keep alive the gift that God gave you when I laid my hands on you. 7 For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control. 8 Do not be ashamed, then, of witnessing for our Lord; neither be ashamed of me, a prisoner for Christ's sake. Instead, take your part in suffering for the Good News, as God gives you the strength for it.    2 Tim 1:3-8

Reflection:
Let us be not afraid and take heart  then in serving God,working using what God has given us for we will be accountable before God.It does not matter how small we think and see what we have, lets just use that what we think is small for there is nothing small in God's sight as long as he is the one who has given us.One thing to know is that The more we walk with the Holy Spirit serving with whatever gifts God has given us the stronger we get  and God gets more and more Glory as his kingdom keeps on expanding.

May God bless us!
