Denying oneself

Acts 20:24
Yet I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace.

Reflection.
Can we really say as Paul said?May the Lord God help us,in Jesus Name,AMEN.

FAILURES ALL AROUND?

2Cor 6:11
 "We have spoken frankly to you, Corinthians; our heart is open wide.You are not constrained by us; you are constrained by your own affections."

It is what we love,do (what we are mostly attached to) that affects our lives.It is what we choose  that affect our lives and God has given us that freedom to choose so never blame God for anything for you are given freedom to choose always.

What advice is then given to you then if that is the case in your life?See what it says :

2Cor 6:1-2
"Working together,then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.* 2For he says:
“In an acceptable time* I heard you,and on the day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. "

God is telling us that there is Grace of God to help us live in a victorious way.Stop being a failure every time by saying that we humans are weak and you end up there.When you know that you are weak you need to go to the one who can give you strength who is ready  to help us as he says in the above part of the scripture In an acceptable time* I heard you,and on the day of salvation I helped you..."

The grace of God is the power to overcome sin and other things that naturally we cannot and The graces are always given to us as we pray,read the Word of God,go to church and the like.it is up to you to DECIDE TO BE VICTORIOUS in areas where you have been failing by receiving the Grace of God knowing that by your own strength you cant do anything good.

NO ENE ELSE TO BLAME,ITS YOU AND YOUR AFFECTIONS!

Decide now and your life will never be the same again!Pray to God to give you Grace to do all the Good you haven't being able to do and God will bless you abundantly!

NOTE:
We live in a world of principles created by God of principles and will be judged by God of principles,and the greatest principle is that "you reap what you have planted" so plant good by the Grace of God and you will reap good for the Glory of God,Without forgetting to keep on seeking God's Grace always as that will allow God to intervene in your life so that nothing will be able to hinder or destroy your harvests in any way!

WE ALL NEED THE HEALING POWER OF GOD

GO THROUGH THE LIST BELOW AND CONFIDENTLY TELL  THAT YOU ARE NOT ILL
1.Mental illnesses
-unbelief (not acknowledging God,whose power is beyond our reasoning capacities)
-superstitions
-idolatry

2.Heart diseases
-Lack of will (results to weariness,lazyness etc)
-Will to power (driven by the desire to been seen you have power/to gain power,prominent in males)
-Spirit of slavery (prominent in females)
-marriage (marriage needs healing as well)

3.Body illness
-Body typical
-Body and soul (diseases caused by our own habits/acts)

IF YOU ARE CONVINCED THAT NO ONE IS 100% SAFE,THEN LETS TOGETHER REMEMBER ALL THE TIME TO BE OPEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ALLOW HIS HEALING TO HEAL US.

GOD HEALS THOUGH
1. HIS WORD
2.PRAYERS AS WELL AS
3.THROUGH  RECEIVING THE HOLY SACREMENTS

Thanks to Lord,God  for through your son Jesus Christ WE ARE HEALED BY HIS WOUNDS,we can receive your Holy Spirit to make us well.

HEAL OUR MINDS LORD WE HUMBLY ASK
HEAL OUR HEARTS LORD WE HUMBLY ASK
HEAL OUR BODIES LORD WE  HUMBLY ASK
HEAL OUR MARRIAGES LORD,WE HUMBLY ASK IN JESUS NAME,AMEN.

WHERE DO YOU BELONG?

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

John 8:42-47

Qn: How is one made the child of God i.e to belong to him?
Answer: Through Faith in him
And once we believe in him and are made his we will be able to not look at things more than God himself for the Pharisees looked more on Godly things and not God himself and thats why Jesus had been telling them that he came to introduce a new law "To love God with all our everything" and to look at the laws when relating with love to him.

SOUL'S DESIRE

Do you know the PASSION Jesus had in doing the will of God and finish the work he was given?

I tell you my friends,the passion/desire Jesus had was like the way our bodies desires for food.Just like the way our bodies need to be fed several times a day was the way Jesus desired to fulfil the will of God,to finish the work he was given (John 4:34).Its like every hour of the day his soul was burning for that fulfilment

The Harvests are ready and plenty,God needs more and more harvesters!Be available for God so that through you he can fulfil his will for the world.All you need to do is pray to god to help you surrender totally to him,he then will change your priorities and keep his love and desire burning in you like what Jesus had so that your hunger will always be to fulfil his will and finish the work which he has given you.Trust God by giving him your life for he can take care of it more than anyone else would/can do for he says in Jer 29:11-13 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".

Good Lord,Grant us that desire always so that we can do your will and please You God our father when we will have accomplished/in accomplishing the work you have given us to do.Help us surrender to you so that through us you will do want you mostly desire.YOUR GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR US LORD JESUS,In Jesus Name I pray.AMEN

Praised be the Name of the Lord.

Are you available for God?

Do you know that God is looking for availability and not ability?he does that since he is the one who will make you able to do things when you submit yourself to him and being always available for him;He needs to mould us and transform us in to the kind of people he wants us to be,the kind of wives/husbands fathers/mothers children he wants us to be for his only glory.

Having known that Therefore,as Romans 12:1-2 says, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual  act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will;

Let us therefore surrender to God as we are urged in Rom 12 above as living sacrifices hence be available to God so that he can use us the way he wants for we are created so that we know God,Love him,serve him and at last get to live with him eternally

God of mercy,help us all in Jesus Name,AMEN.

ARE YOU ON JOURNEY?

Indifference toward religion, coupled with a love for material comfort, seem to be common signs of our times. A person from another planet observing us would not likely judge us to be pilgrim people on our way to somewhere else. The truth is that we are all in a journey and therefore need to focus on where we are going,we should not let ourselves be overtaken by the present situations but rather use all that surrounds us all that we find on our way as we journey-use all to help us reach our destination.May God bless us all!

How we should behave

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling;

13for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

14Do all things without grumbling or disputing;

15so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent,children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.Phil 2:12-15

Ni kwa nini Wakristo wengi hatuoni matunda ya Ukristo wetu,hatufurahii ushindi tulioupata kupitia kwa Yesu Kristo mwamba wa uzima wetu?
Jibu kubwa ni kuwa huwa hatufanyi vitu au mambo yetu ya kiroho kwa kumaanisha!
Mengi tunafanya kwa mazoea na kwa unafiki mkubwa hivyo Mungu anakosa nafasi ya kutusaidia.Tutakapoacha kufanya mambo yetu ya kiroho kwa kubahatisha na Tutakapomruhusu Mungu atawale kweli maisha yetu tutakuwa watu wa tofauti kabisa,tutatembea katika ushindi kila wakati na Mungu wetu atatukuzwa daima.Mimi na wewe basi tuchukue hatua ya kumtegemea Mungu 100%.Kumtegemea yeye 100% maana yake ni kutimiza yale anayotuambia katika Neno lake bila kuwa na wasiwasi wowote ili kwa pamoja tupate kuushiriki utukufu wake aliotuandalia mbinguni,TUMSIFU YESU KRISTO!

Always fix your eyes on Jesus who is all in all,aliye anzisha na aliyemkamilifu katika yote,when you dont know what to do not look at how big your problem is,do not be temped to say am doomed,mtumaini Mungu,elekeza moyo wako kwake naye atakuwa msaada na tumaini kwako
KRISTO NDIYE TUMAINI LETU DAIMA!
